Expanded Film Program, ASU and Universidad de Guadalajara Join Programs
Arizona State University (ASU) and Universidad de Guadalajara have joined together to connect their respective film schools, beginning with a new agreement signed at ASU’s California Center on Broadway at 11th. The partnership will also open more online learning opportunities for Hispanic students and support a variety of joint academic and cultural projects. As part of the collaboration, Universidad de Guadalajara will have its own workspace at the California Center in Downtown Los Angeles and access to resources for events and activities in the LA community.
Students at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara now have access to ASU’s online courses and learning tools. ASU has been ranked the top university for innovation in the U.S., and UAG is the only school in Mexico using the Powered by ASU model, giving its students the opportunity to benefit from ASU’s online courses and learning tools. This partnership highlights a shared goal of building stronger connections between universities in the U.S. and Mexico.
