11th Street Native Pollinator Corridor

Help us create a greener, more beautiful South Park!

Community Planting Day

Join SPNA and your South Park neighbors as we transform 36 planters along 11th Street into a Native Pollinator Corridor, filled with beautiful Southern California native plants that support butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and other wildlife.

Whether you're an experienced gardener or have never planted anything before, everyone is welcome! We'll provide the plants, tools, and guidance. You bring your enthusiasm!

About the Project

What started as an opportunity to replace struggling plants along 11th Street has grown into a community project to create a beautiful, cohesive corridor of Southern California native plants.

These plants will provide food and habitat for native pollinators, bring seasonal color to the neighborhood, and, once established, require less water than many traditional landscape plants.

Just as importantly, this is an opportunity for residents to help shape, plant, and care for their neighborhood. By working together to create something beautiful, we're building a stronger sense of connection, ownership, and pride in South Park.

With support from the Social District BID and Council District 14, SPNA is bringing neighbors together to make this vision a reality.

Be part of the transformation!
