A Neighborhood Note :
During the presentation at Ten50 sponsored by SPNA last week, Dr. Luigi De Stefano, Director of Emergency Room Operations at California Dignity Health Hospital, revealed the emergency room operation desperately needs donations of clean casual clothing (shirts, pants, socks, coats and underwear for both men and women) and serviceable shoes of all sizes. These items come in handy when individuals of little means find themselves in the Dignity Health Emergency room with no clean or serviceable clothing when they are released.
Your donations will be cheerfully accepted. Just take them to the main lobby front desk at 1401 South Grand Avenue. You will be directed to several large collection bins in the back of the lobby. (You can temporarily park your car at the front door for the quick trip to the collection area!)
Take a studied look at your closet. Surely there is something that you can donate! Your contributions will help South Park residents directly and will be greatly appreciated!
