A French Connection, In the Neighborhood
The Wine Station on Hope at 12th opened at the end of last year bringing a French connection to the neighborhood. From tasting curated wines and feasting on gourmet bites Tuesday through Sunday to participating in monthly wine tasting or joining the Wine Club, each experience is notable.
Thibaud Duccinia, a Frenchman from the South of France, is a local wine expert behind some of the city's most beloved restaurants including Wally’s in Beverly Hills before opening his own restaurant in South Park. Thibaud has brought in a French chef from Saint-Barth, “we're redefining casual sophistication.” Between the two, you will be treated to the best of a French experience.
The menu includes caviar or truffle grilled cheese, a charcuterie plate, Hamachi crudo, their pizza selections that include the “sandwich prosciutto” or the classic Margarita pizza, and more. During Dine LA week, I suggest the slow-cooked boeuf bourguignon – excellent!!!! End with a dessert of crème brulee or tiramisu!
