Street Festival in the Neighborhood! All About Your Wellness

          Treat yourself to a day just for you, your health, your well-being. Treat yourself by attending the free Heart of the City Wellness Festival on Saturday, April 6 from 10 am to 2 pm on Grand Avenue between Pico and Venice sponsored by Dignity Health California Hospital Medical Center.

         Enjoy the fresh air and community of neighbors as you wander along the street to explore the eight dimensions of health including the community zone, environmental zone, physical and wellness zone, social zone, intellectual zone, and more. But there is also:

·    On the stage - performers including a mariachi band from Cal State LA, marching band from Huntington Park Institute of Applied Medicine, break dancing, 3-piece band playing 70s, 80, and oldies music, hip hop dance group, kickboxing demonstration, Zumba demonstration, and more!

·    Check out the food truck – Go Fusion Bowl.

·    Donate blood – see flyer.

·    Health screenings – blood pressure, cholesterol, A1c.

·    Check out SPNA’s booth – enter the raffle for a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant in South Park of your choosing!!!

·    Checkout other South Park booths – 9 Round Kickboxing (430 W. Pico), D.T.L.A. Fitness (1200 S. Broadway), South Park Doggie Daycare (1320 S. Grand), South Park BID (1150 S. Hope).
