See Something, Say Something, A Must Do
You have heard – for years – See Something, Say Something – until it has lost its meaning. But it is still very good advice.
Recent events – an incident in a residential building during a street takeover - remind us that when we see something happing that is not good, we need to say something. Don’t wait thinking someone else will report the incident, or it will all go away soon, or you don’t want to get involved.
We share a neighborhood. We love our neighborhood. We want our neighborhood to be safe. So, if you see – throngs of cars gathering at 3 am, a person looking in car windows and checking door handles, people with spray cans and ladders, a person lying on the street and not moving…..say something.
