The closest in-person voting center for South Park residents is at the Biltmore Hotel on Grand at 5th Street – Suite 100 Tower Lobby from 10 am to 7 pm now through November 2. On Election Day hours are 7 am to 8 pm.

However, you can vote at any voting center. If you are looking for a voting center outside of downtown, check out this link https://locator.lavote.gov/locations/vc?id=4348&culture=en.

Vote By Mail

Voting by mail is available to all registered voters. Given changes to the U.S. Postal Service, Californians who plan to return their ballot by mail should do so at least one week before Election Day.

You can return your ballot in any of three ways:

·      Drop box (emptied daily). The downtown drop box is located outside the Central Los Angeles Library on 5th Street. Find other drop box locations at this link: https://www.lavote.gov/home/voting-elections/voting-options/vote-by-mail/vbm-ballot-drop-off. Drop boxes close at 8 pm on Election Day.

·      Vote center (see above).

·      U.S. mail, with no postage needed.

Late and Same Day Voter Registration

If you miss the registration deadline, you can still register or re-register and vote within 14 days of the election, including on Election Day. Visit your county elections office or any voting center. Your ballot will be counted once the county finishes verifying your registration.

Visit caearlyvoting.sos.ca.gov for a list of early voting locations where you can complete the same day voter registration process. Need to register on Election Day? Use  polling place lookup tool to find your local polling location.
