Education in DTLA - What is the future?

  Join us for the 1st Future of Education in DTLA Forum on Saturday, May 18th, from 1-3 pm at the Little Tokyo Library at 203 S. Los Angeles Street near W. 2nd Street hosted by DLANC (Downtown Los Angles Neighborhood Council)! The future of education in DTLA is crucial for our classrooms and communities, and this public discussion, moderated by Nolan Marshall, Executive Director of South Park BID, will delve into its complexities. 

  Our panelists from Hope Street Margolis Family Center, Para Los Niños, Ramon C. Cortines High School, Cal State LA, and LAUSD will delve into the collective power needed to address the needs of our classrooms and communities and its complexities as they share insights on attracting and retaining educators, youth programming, adult education resources, enrollment successes, challenges, and more.  This forum marks a groundbreaking conversation among education stakeholders in DTLA and offers a unique opportunity for the public to connect with those invested in shaping the future of education in downtown Los Angeles.

The panel will present from 1- 2:30 pm followed by a post-reception from 2:30 – 3 pm.
