Did you score tickets for the 2028 LA Olympic/Paralympic Games? If Not…Read On

While the first-round of 2028 Olympic/Paralympic ticket sales for LA residents have ended, there will be a future round. Sign up now at

https://la28.org/en/ticketing.html#stay-informed to enter the next round.

If chosen in the next round, you will receive an email with the dates and times to purchase tickets (up to 12) within a 48-hour window. Advice received from those in the first round of ticket sales includes:

·      Prepare in advance your preference for tickets. Even though you have 48-hours, the available tickets go quickly. The sooner and quicker you decide, the more choices you have, including the price of the ticket.

·      Having a budget. For example, you might be willing to pay more for a particular game or for a final round game but stay within your budget by purchasing preliminary round tickets for another event.

·      You are purchasing tickets for seating in “an area” and not for a specific seat. Remember – any seat is a good seat because you are attending an Olympic/Paralympic game!!!

Here is the list of Zones and games at each Zone:

For an easy walk to the 2028 Summer Olympics, consider the games at Crypto artistic gymnastics, boxing- (final stages), and trampoline gymnastics; at LA Convention Center - fencing, judo, table tennis, taekwondo, wrestling; and at Peacock Theater - boxing and weightlifting.

A quick Metro train ride from Pico to USC (three stops – 17 minutes) would allow you to attend Opening and Closing Ceremonies plus track and field at LA Memorial Coliseum where the 1932 and 1984 Summer Olympics were held; flag football and lacrosse at Exposition Park Stadium; and badminton and rhythmic gymnastics at USC Galen Center.

Consider attending baseball at nearby Dodger Stadium which is only an hour walk!!!!  Transportation alternatives – include a 12-minute car ride, a 19-minute bus ride from Broadway and 12th, or a 28-minute bike ride.

There will also be events in Venice, the Valley, Universal City, Inglewood, Pasadena, Carson, Long Beach, and, if willing to travel, there are games in San Diego, San Jose, St. Louis, Nashville, Columbus, Ohio, Oklahoma City, and New York City.

You might consider volunteering at the 2028 Olympic/Paralympic games. You can sign up now at https://la28.org/en/faqs/volunteer-with-la28.html, and there is no charge for a ticket!

Yes, it is two years before the games arrive in LA! But by that time, tickets will not be available or only available for outlandish prices. Plan now!
