Low Turn Out for Primary Election from South Park Residents

With 73% of the Primary Election counted, only 392 votes were cast in the South Park precinct. Elected officials listen to neighborhoods that vote. South Park residents need to vote in the November election in order to have their needs and problems addressed by those who represent South Park. Get ready to vote on November 8, 2022.

Voting is easy. California is providing vote by mail to all Californians including a postage paid envelope. Voters can also drop off mail ballots at the Los Angeles Central Library on 5th between Grand and Flower at the 24-hour Ballot Dropoff Box. If you prefer to vote in person, that option is available and better than ever. You can vote at any voting location in the state.

If you are a registered voter but have not updated your address to your South Park location, please do so in order to vote on the candidates that represent you in South Park. October 24 is the last day to register to vote or update your voter registration address but do it today - do not delay. Click here to register or change your address or check your registration status. Quick and easy.

There is much to vote on November 8. The ballot includes local races such as Mayor, City Attorney, Controller, City Council, and Board of Education. Plus, there are state races (Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House + more), and LA County races (Sheriff, Assessor + more).

Your voice matters for the South Park neighborhood! The more residents who vote, the louder the voice of South Park grows, and the more attention elected officials give to our neighborhood. Please vote!
